Day 1 - Bagdogra/Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Station/Siliguri to Gangtok

You will be received by our representative at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tpakyong Airport. The representative will assist the guests on a journey to Gangtok. The road journey to Gangtok is filled with picturesque landscapes, terrain, and greenery. Gangtok is an ideal tourist destination for those seeking tranquility and peace in the midst of a fast-paced lifestyle. It is a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, culture, and tranquility.
After reaching Gangtok, you will have ample time in the evening to stroll around the M.G. Marg / Local Market. Dinner will be served to you at the hotel. You will have an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 - Gangtok to Lachen

After having a delicious and authentic breakfast, you will get ready to embark on the journey to Lachen. The journey will begin from Vajra Stand at 10:30 AM. Our representative will have already collected the pass and permits for you.

On the drive to Lachen, there will be stoppages at 3 sightseeing locations, namely:

1. Twin Waterfalls
2. Seven Sisters Waterfalls
3. Singhik View Point

You will reach Lachung by the evening. The pleasant weather and the serenity of the place will welcome you. You will check into a hotel, and be welcomed with tea. After getting fresh, make the most of the evening time to stroll Lachen. Dinner will be served to you at the hotel. You will have an overnight stay at Hotel in Lachen.

Day 3 - Lachen to Lachung

On day 3 of your tour, you will get ready in the morning to reach your new destination, Lachung.

You will start the road trip at 10 AM, after breakfast, from the Lachen stop to Lachung. The distance between the two is 47 km. On this road trip, you will come across breathtaking landscapes, majestic mountains, and greenery. On this journey to Lachung, you will enjoy sightseeing at 3 places, which are:

1. Thangu
2. Chopta Valley (13,200ft)
3. Gurudongmar Lake (17,800ft)

On reaching Lachung in the late afternoon, you will be welcomed at a hotel with hot tea. After getting fresh, you can use the evening time to stroll through the beautiful and tiny town of Lachung. Dinner will be served to you at the hotel. You will have an overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4 - Lachung to Gangtok

You get ready to head back to Gangtok. The road journey to Gangtok will start at 10:00 AM after breakfast. is 102 km. On the way to Gangtok, you will enjoy sightseeing in Yumthang Valley. You also have an (Optional tour to Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (15,000ft, 23kms from Yumthang) for Indian tourists only (at extra cost 4000/- per vehicle on prior notice).

On reaching Gangtok in the late evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel. There is an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 5 - Tour Ends

The tour ends as you are dropped off by our representative at Bagdogra/ Pakyong Airport / NJP Railway Station according to the schedule.

Day 1 - Bagdogra/Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Station/Siliguri to Gangtok

You will arrive at Bagdogra/Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Station/Siliguri as per your scheduled flight. Upon arrival, you will meet our tour representative. Get ready to embark on the road journey to Gangtok.

On arrival in Gangtok, you will check into a hotel. Make the best use of your free time in the evening to explore the local area by own.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 - Full day Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir Sightseeing

After breakfast, get ready for a road journey to proceed to high altitude holy Tsomgo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir. The 2.5-hour journey will take you through the scenic landscape. You can also visit the Nathu La Pass, however, you have to inform us prior as a permit is required per vehicle.

Later drive back to Gangtok. In the evening, you can explore the local area by own.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 - Half Day Gangtok Sightseeing and Gangtok to Darjeeling

On day 3 of your Sikkim Gangtok Darjeeling tour, you will be exploring the following major sights in Gangtok, in the first half of the day.

1. Ropeway
2. Do-Drul Chorten
3. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology
4. Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed)
5. Flower Show (Orchid)

In the later part of the day, you will drive to Darjeeling. On arrival in Darjeeling, you will check into a hotel. Get fresh and ready to explore the local area by own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 - Sightseeing in Darjeeling and its nearby attractions

Early morning at 4 AM, you will leave for Tiger Hills to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. You will return to the hotel and get ready to explore the major sightseeing in Darjeeling and its nearby attractions, like:

1. Ghoom Monastery
2. Batasia Loop
3. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday)
4. P.N Zoological Park (Thursday closed)
5. Tenzing Rock
6. Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Closed on Sunday)
7. Tea Garden (outer view)
8. Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00hrs)

Day 5 - Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule

After the delicious breakfast, you will be dropped at the Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Station as per your scheduled flight/train, and this marks the end of the beautiful Sikkim Gangtok Darjeeling trip with NE Cab.
